Teak
Atmosphera uses pure Indonesian Teak wood.
The typical honey color of Teak wood together with satin stainless steel details, gives to the collection a classical and eternal appeal with modern and cozy lines.
Time passing, the honey color of Teak wood becomes silvery, since the natural outside exposure implements a process of oxidation of the outer surface layer.
In order to refresh the original honey color, it’s suggested to clean the surface with water and neutral soap and to use a stiff brush to remove dirt.
It‘s also recommended the application of specific oils for Teak to renew its natural softness and moisture. See Maintenance kit.
Do not use products with alcohol or acetones: the use of chemical substances could damage and spoil the surface.

The Panarea service table is made entirely of glossy glazed ceramic moulded by casting.
This production method consists in pouring the clay slurry into a plaster mould, which absorbs the water to create a thick layer of clay.
Once finished, the piece is left to dry completely and then baked at more than 1000°, creating the so-called “biscuit”.
At this point, the biscuit is airbrushed in the colours required and baked again at about 980°.
If the glazing is suitable, the piece is ready.
The term casting refers to the act of filling the clay mould.
Clay slurry is a fluid mixture of clay.
